Welcome to the June update for Avelore’s Tome of Knowledge

 

This is the June 2023 update for Avelore’s Tome of Knowledge. I know I haven’t updated in awhile and for that I apologize. A lot has happened in recent months. Not the least of which was me having to move and relocate my office. That has been a much longer and more arduous process than expected. However, I am now up and running and ready to move forward.

A  speed bump

Our partner company Ventrify recently had to close their doors which did create another small obstacle to overcome. Ventrify was the company that communicated with the manufacturing company in China on our behalf. Under normal circumstances companies use these go-betweens at the behest of the manufacturers themselves. It’s much easier to communicate with a single entity who speaks for several businesses than having to communicate with every business directly. So, needless to say, when I learned of Ventrify’s troubles I was concerned. Ventrify  as a company however, were fantastic and helped set up communication with our manufacturer who kindly agreed to work with us directly. Not a normal business practice and a concession I was thrilled they agreed to.

Next Steps

Since making the swap, we finalized the design for the second generation prototype, and I received the new binders a few days ago. A very exciting time. Our last order of business is making a correction to the page sizes due to a change in the second binder design that was over looked. Our current goal is to make the corrections by the end of June and to have new pages in hand by August. This will allow us to begin creating assets such as Photo’s, Videos, Ads etc. In turn that will allow us to begin our pre-launch campaign in September. We will run that for 3 months. Sept., Oct., and Nov. and launch in early December. Just in time for the Holiday Shopping season!!

We have a lot of work to do in the coming months. And there is still the possibility of setbacks in the timeline. However, I will be far more active with updates and social media posts going forward. And I’ll make sure you are all up to speed and ready when the time comes.
